BEHIND THE LENS

Hello, thank you for visiting my site. As you can see, my name is Dominika. Born and bred a Cambridge girl, I am actually fully Polish by blood. 

 

Since studying photography at GCSE and then A level, under the wonderful Tony Lumb, it has completely captivated me. I have been known to go on holiday and spend more time with my camera than my friends! During university, I single handedly set up and was President of the Photography Society, which is still running today. It was through this that I was head hunted to shoot my first wedding - I never looked back. 

 

As you may have noticed, I like to capture a range of things, but it's people who really fascinate me - their quirks, expressions and emotions. Editing my photos and seeing my clients' reactions is the most rewarding feeling in the world. 

 

I also look to capture the small, beautiful and sometimes unusual details that are typically overlooked in everyday life.
